Former Students

The English Language Program loves to stay in touch with former students. You will always be part of our community — long after you leave!  Why not tell us about your experiences at the ELP by writing a testimonial for us? Or, how about writing a short article for @elp, our student magazine? We often hold reunions to celebrate the success of our former students. If you want to be invited to these events, or if you simply like to stay in touch, contact us. Be sure to tell us where you are, what you are doing and if you’d like to organize a reunion party for English Language Program students where you live or simply hear from us regularly.

Liseth Sierra

“I chose to study at the University of Toronto because it is one of the best universities in North America. In-class activities are fun and enjoyable and the social activities contributed to improving my confidence and English abilities. Studying at the ELP has been a great experience.”

Liseth Sierra Vitola of Colombia

Giovanni Licata

“The ELP at the School of Continuing Studies at U of T is preparing me for my eventual immigration to Canada. It has a wealth of resources to guide me in the right direction, with an indispensable staff that exceed my expectations. I’m greatly benefitting from this experience because it’s a ‘one-stop shop’ where I’m able to pick up skills, information, friends and results that are critical to my future advancement.”

Giovanni Licata of Italy

Tra Lee

“Before coming to the ELP, I couldn’t speak English well – my English was so terrible! The ELP’s professional approach to teaching and its many social and volunteer activities helped me learn to communicate better.”

Thi Minh Tra Le, of Vietnam
