Halloween @ELP

Get Ready for Halloween!

This Friday, October 29th, 2016, the English Language Program Lobby will transform and host the annual ELP Pumpkin Carving and Costume Contest.  Students will have the opportunity to carve a real pumpkin and enjoy some Halloween treats with their fellow ELP classmates and friends.

Pumpkin carving starts at 5:00pm.

Make sure to dress up in your spookiest costume!

Prizes will be awarded for best pumpkin and costume.

To get you in the Halloween spirit, here are some highlights from last year’s festivities:

“During my experience at ELP, I have engaged in different activities but the one that I most remember is the pumpkin activity. Most of the people would ask what the special thing in this event is. But if they can’t answer this question is a result of not being that day. For me, it was really interesting because in my country Halloween is not as typical as here in Canada. Moreover, not only was it the first time that I had made a Halloween pumpkin, but also it has been one in which most of the students have engaged. So we could meet more people and have fun together.”
