The EP Cup

On Friday, August 26, 2016, English PLUS students will test and challenge their language skills and compete for the EP Cup.   As the final English PLUS activity, students will be divided into teams, each composed of students of different levels of English fluency,  and have to complete language-based exercises and accumulate points.  To complete each task, students will have to use a number of language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) that were taught and developed over the course of the term. Not only will this event give students an opportunity to interact with other classes as well as staff members from around the ELP, but it will challenge students to work together and use their skills in a fun environment all for the chance to hoist the EP Cup.

This session’s EP Cup will take place throughout the University of Toronto Campus. Teams will be responsible for finding specific locations and answering questions derived from their surroundings (ex: Who won the silver boxing medal in 1984? Answer: Take the EP Cup challenge to find out!).

EP Cup activities will start at 9:00am in room 2-212.  Stayed tuned to ELP’s Facebook and Instagram accounts for highlights.
