Our Volunteer Coordinators help students connect with volunteer opportunities around Toronto. Volunteering is an excellent way to meet new people, practice English, gain valuable experience and support local community not-for-profit organizations and charities. There are many exciting events that students can participate in, such as: community festivals, theatre productions, and sporting events. Events will vary depending upon the season and time of year. The English Language Program also helps students find long term volunteer placements through one-on-one counselling. We also honour volunteer work completed independently by students (proof must be submitted by the volunteer organization). Students that volunteer are awarded with a reference letter recognizing their achievements. This letter can help with future university, college and job applications. Volunteers from the English Language Program work closely with the following organizations:

  • Volunteering
  • Dusk Dances
  • 20140511_112402
